Hi what a great post you have here! I think it is scary to know that our privacy is not so private anymore especially that it is know accessible for another party. You mentioned a great point here about how website uses cookies to store our data, I've always been wondering. However, do you think is there any law or regulation that Government does to protect users from cyber criminals that misuse our information? Cheers! :D
ReplyDeleteHi Josh, I totally agree with you. It is just not comforting to know that your personal details is available and can be obtained by marketing companies for their use. It is important that every transactions purchased is done on a safe and secure website. I think the same way too, if there is any rules from the government to protect online users like us? cheers mate.
DeleteHi Josh & Edward thankyou for commenting! To be honest I have no idea about any laws in Australia especially in protecting consumer's privacy, however I tried searching for you guys and there is this regulation -- "The Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) is an Australian law which regulates the handling of personal information about individuals. This includes the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information, and access to and correction of that information"
